I haven’t been practicing yoga at 5 am each morning this week and although my mind is feeling guilt about it my body and spirit are feeling something different: balance.
I hadn’t noticed how tired I was becoming and how much I was relying on that practice to make my day less stressful. Although it does and I can’t wait to start the 5 am sessions again in two weeks, my body is loving the extra hour of sleep it is getting.
Life is short and routines can be boring. Do what you feel like your body needs. This isn’t permission to eat junk food and never go to the gym, because if you already do that you aren’t creating something to balance it. This is more to get you thinking about what you can do to nourish you and create more balance in your daily life.
